TRANSITIONAL RESIDENT
SURRENDER OF PROPERTY IN THE EVENT OF ESCAPE

Should I escape, I hereby declare any and all of my possessions remaining at the Center to be
voluntarily abandoned. I further hold the Center blameless and without liability for any loss,
theft or destruction of any of my property. No one but myself, in person, may claim on my
behalf, property or funds left behind by my escape, until I am recaptured and returned to the
custody of Georgia Department of Corrections. My remaining funds will be used to pay all
outstanding debts to the Center, and court-ordered fines and payments. My remaining property
will be disposed of after 30 days.
