You have been sentenced to 90-120 days in Probation Boot Camp as a special condition of probation. By law your time will begin when you arrive at the facility. There may be a waiting period prior to admission dependent upon space availability. 2. The address of the facility to which you will be sent is: 3. The Probation Boot Camp program is modeled after military boot camps. You can expect a demanding program emphasizing military order, discipline, drill, and physical training. You will be required to participate to the best of your ability and to follow all rules, regulations, program requirements and orders. You will have required work assignments. Failure to perform work assignments satisfactorily may result in revocation of your probation sentence and entry into the prison system. You may have required program assignment. 4. Storage space is very limited. It consists of a draw 6" x 20" x 24". All property must be stored in this draw. This includes property issued by the Center. Personal property that you make take to the center is limited to: a. Cash or money order provided by state licensed company. b. Legal materials (limited to what can be stored in small assigned space). c. Prescription eyeglasses or contact lens if needed (one sealed container of lens solution is allowed). d. Hearing aid if used. e. Personal clothing worn to the center (to be stored to wear home or sent home at your expense). f. Prescribed medication, which will be approved by the medical staff upon arrival. 5. **NO SMOKING ITEMS WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE CENTER!** 6. **NO FOOD ITEMS ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO THE CENTER!** 7. **NO EARRINGS OR OTHER BODY PIERCING ORNAMENTS ARE ALLOWED!** 8. No personal hygiene items are to be brought to the center. There is a detainee store where you can purchase stamps and hygienic items on a weekly basis. $12.00 per week is the Attachment 4 SOP IIB12-0003 (210.03) 07/15/15 Page 2 of 2 maximum you can spend in the store. **FUNDS THAT YOU RECEIVE CAN ONLY BE** **SENT THROUGH THE MAIL AND ONLY IN THE FORM OF A MONEY** **ORDER!** 9. You will be allowed to send and receive mail daily, Monday through Friday, except State Holidays. Visitation is not normally allowed. Phone calls are not normally allowed except near the end of the program to make transportation and other discharge arrangements. 10. Upon arrival at the Probation Boot Camp, you will be issued the necessary clothing, linen, and hygiene items. As a detainee assigned to the Probation Boot Camp, I acknowledge that this orientation package has been furnished to me. Furthermore, the Rules and Regulations contained within this package have been explained to me in detail. Additionally, I understand that I will receive a complete orientation as to the Rules and Regulations upon my arrival at the Boot Camp. I understand those items that I will be allowed to bring and I have received a copy of the PreAdmission Acknowledgement. I understand that excessive property must be returned home at my expense or destroyed upon arrival at the Probation Boot Camp. I understand that the center is a military regimented work orientated program and I will be expected to participate and complete this program. I understand that should I successfully complete the program, transportation home is my responsibility.
