# GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS Facility: ______________________ Mental Health Services LOCK DOWN/SLU/ACU/CSU TEMPERATURE LOG (complete daily from April 1 [st] – September 30 [th] ) *****************
Heat Precautions for Offenders Receiving Psychotropic Medication
The temperature will be documented by Security once every 6 hours during daylight hours (per range)
When ambient temperature exceeds 85˚ Fahrenheit, institute the following measures:
1. Increase ventilation with fans to improve air flow
2. Provide increased ice and fluids.
3. Allow additional showers, if possible.
