GDC: Five inmates injured in ‘gang-related’ fight at Dooly State Prison
DOOLY COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — Five inmates were injured in what is believed to be a “gang-related” fight at Dooly State Prison on Monday.
According to the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC), the fight involved multiple offenders and was contained to one dormitory inside the prison in Unadilla.
Five inmates suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an outside medical facility for treatment.

The GDC says the incident is believed to have been gang-related but shared no further details on the investigation.
