They were charged in the Washington County court system.
According to a previous press release from the department, they say the “disturbance” started at around 1:25 p.m. on a sideway, when a fight broke out between several inmates.
During the fight, the nearby visitation area was evacuated, but several injured inmates were able to enter the visitation area. They noted no visitors were hurt in the disturbance.
At around 3 p.m. they were able to bring the situation under control, according to the department. The prison was placed on lockdown shortly after the riot.
