If you have to appeal — how to actually file it.
The rules mention appealing on the JPay kiosk or tablet, but in practice that
tablet channel often does not work. The reliable path is the paper
Central Office Appeal Form (Attachment 5), handed to your counselor in
person — and keep the receipt. You have 7 days from the date
on the Warden's response, not from the day you receive it, so start
asking for a counselor immediately and write down every attempt (date, time,
name, what was said).
