GPS records attribute four deaths to Walker’s Baldwin tenure: James Monroe Dailey, 64, recorded May 10, 2026 (cause category 6); Richard Lyle Timmons, 37, recorded May 19, 2026 (cause category 6); Artinez Ceasar, recorded July 3, 2026 (cause category 6) — identified in GPS notes as Artinez Rafael Ceaser, GDC 1002006619, born 1991, with cause listed as unknown/pending and an unresolved discrepancy between the reported Baldwin location and a prior observation at Augusta State Medical Prison; and Edward Allen Pitt, recorded July 31, 2026 (cause category 1), whose entry lists his last known institution as Coastal State Prison. The GPS extract does not explain the numeric cause categories or state an official cause for each death. A separate Baldwin death, Ricky Mathis on April 5, 2026, predates Walker’s April 16 start and is not counted among the four.During this posting, 13WMAZ reported that an officer allegedly shanked inmate Akeim Burgest after throwing a water bottle at him, and that a lieutenant allegedly stood by without intervening.
