Coffee Correctional Facility — Regional Operations Coordinator, 2025–present
Pritchett’s current Coffee assignment began July 16, 2025. GPS event records describe a series of stabbings at Coffee on December 13, 2025, leaving multiple inmates critically injured and requiring outside medical care. A Georgia grand jury later indicted 16 inmates on charges including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, gang act violations, and riot in a penal institution, according to GPS event records. FOX 5 Atlanta reported that the 16 inmates were alleged members of the Bloods gang; Yahoo.com carried a similar allegation. Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporting, per GPS intel records, also noted the indictment of former Coffee correctional officer Dacia Gaskins for conspiring to distribute cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, and marijuana. The AJC had separately reported that an incident report indicated four other inmates were involved in the 2020 stabbing death of Kendall Ja’Mal Cromer at Coffee. Those recorded Coffee deaths predate Pritchett’s July 2025 assignment and are not part of the one death attributed to his leadership tenure.
